Prior to joining the marine industry, Tim spent 15 years in the apparel business working for Bill Blass, Arnold Palmer, and Patagonia. His prior background as a director of marketing, led him to eventually combine his professional life and passion for yachting at a local Cape Cod Boatyard. For five years he was responsible for managing service, marina and marketing efforts for a full-service yacht yard. Tim joined The Hinckley Company in 2013 as the Director of Customer Service. In this role he supported the service yards in the areas of customer satisfaction and retention, marketing support and business development. After several years supporting the yards, Tim went to work on the boatbuilding side of the business-responsible for new yacht delivery, training and providing high level support to the customer during their first year of ownership. Tim went on to become the General Manager of the Portsmouth service yard for several years. Under Tim’s leadership in 2018, the yard received ABBRA (American Boat Builders and Repair Association), “Boatyard of the year” award. Tim went on to eventually become the Vice President of Service, running the division for three years before transitioning to his role as Sales Director/Broker. Tim is a licensed USCG Captain and a certified marine service manager. His serves as a board member of ABBRA. He is an avid fisherman, sailor, dog trainer and motorcycle traveler.
